Grosse Pointe South Varsity Field

Grosse Pointe South's Varsity Field has been the site of many classic baseball contests and has served the Grosse Pointe community over the years by hosting Varsity and Junior Varsity games and MHSAA District and Regional games. Varsity Field is also home to the Grosse Pointe South Babe Ruth leagues (Ages 13 through 16), several local Grosse Pointe Federation Teams and Sr. Little League programs.

Renovation to Varsity Field began in 2002 to the press box and third base side bleachers. Field Turf was installed 2003 and now covers the infield. Regular ongoing maintenance is preformed by the Dugout Club on a regular basis to the outfield, dirt portions of the infield, hitting back drop and both dugouts.

Future plans include completion of the first base side stands which will bring the seating capacity to around 250 fans.
